Take Control
ProTake Control is a Pro feature that allows you to seamlessly take over conversations from the AI assistant and respond to customers personally. When the AI needs a human touch, you can step in instantly.
What does it do?
- Take over any active conversation from the AI assistant in real-time
- Respond personally to customers directly from your dashboard
- When finished, hand the conversation back to the AI with one click
Requirements
Pro subscription required
The Take Control feature is exclusively available to users with an active Pro subscription. Upgrade your plan to unlock live chat capabilities.
How to use Take Control
Go to the Online tab
In your dashboard, navigate to Conversation → Online to see all active conversations happening in real-time.
Select a conversation
Click on any active conversation to view the chat history and see what the customer is asking.
Click Take Control
At the bottom of the conversation, click the purple "Take Control" button to take over from the AI.
Respond as an operator
Type your message in the input field and send it. Your messages will be delivered to the customer instantly.
End the session
When you're done, click "End" to return control to the AI assistant. The AI will continue handling the conversation.
When you take control, customers are notified in the chat and your messages appear with a different color to distinguish them from AI responses.
You'll receive real-time typing indicators when customers are typing, so you know when they're composing a response.
